Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery of the Eyelids, Orbit, and Lacrimal System
Dr. Reistad completed his residency at Yale University. He undertook an additional two years of specialized training in Ophthalmic and Facial Plastic Surgery. The practice of ophthalmic plastic surgery includes: cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the forehead and eyelids, tumor surgery of the eyelids and socket, periocular trauma, tearing problems, eyelid spasms, and thyroid eye disease. Dr. Reistad also performs non-surgical treatments including Botox and Juvederm.
Dr. Reistad spent his childhood in Wisconsin, graduated summa cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis, and went on to graduate from Washington University School of Medicine. He is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (www.asoprs.org). He is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa and an Eagle Scout. Dr. Reistad has served as an instructor to other physicians at the national meetings, teaching courses on endoscopic browlift, eyelid surgery, and the use of Botox and dermal fillers. When not working, Dr. Reistad enjoys spending time with his family and playing tennis.
