Dr. Craig Beyer was on the original surgical team that performed the world's first LASIK procedure on a human. Dr. Beyer has continuously performed Laser Vision Correction since that early day which explains why he is acclaimed as having the most experience of any surgeon in all of Colorado.

Dr. Craig Beyer founded and personally funded Beyer Laser Center over 10 years ago which makes Beyer Laser Center Boulder County's only surgeon-owned full service LASIK center.

The Beyer Laser Center facility was designed by Dr. Beyer and built specifically for laser vision correction which has enhanced the patient experience for thousands of patients and their families. Dr. Beyer and his staff perform LASIK for people from all over the world including many patients that have received LASIK from other centers that was simply not done well. Most of our staff, including Dr. Beyer, has had laser vision correction and, having stood in our patients' shoes, helps us understand your questions and concerns. Having once been patients ourselves, we can provide you with a better understanding of what to expect.

Not everyone's eyes are well-suited for LASIK and a thorough exam by the staff and the surgeon are essential in determining that LASIK will deliver the desired results for each patient.
